This past week, I went to see the Red Sox vs Astros game at Fenway Park. Fenway Park is a famous baseball park located on 4 Yawkey Way, Boston, MA. My family has always been big Red Sox fans that goes back four generations. To be able to go to Fenway to watch the Red Sox play for the first time was amazing. It’s an event I’m glad I got to experience, and would be an event I’d experience again if I had the chance. The Red Sox were in the lead until the 4 inning, when the Astros tied the game 5-5. They remained tied until the bottom of the 9th, when the Red Sox scored a home run for the win! The crowd was very passionate about their teams, and would cheer loudly everytime their team scored.
My favorite part about the game was the Fenway franks. These are the best hot dogs ever! Normally, with hot dogs you buy from the store they taste better with ketchup, mustard and relish, but these Fenway franks didn’t need condiments at all. They were the most delicious hot dogs I’ve tried. I definitely recommend a Fenway Frank the next time you visit Fenway park for a game. Of course, ballgames are great family events to take the kids. They can also be very romantic. During the game, we witnessed two marriage proposals that made the event even more exciting. You never know what is going to happen at a ball game!
