Boston Bruins Secure the Win!🏒🖤💛

What an absolutely amazing night at the TD Garden for my 2nd Boston Bruins game! There is nothing quite like the atmosphere, and I could feel the energy from the moment I walked in.

They played against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Boston Bruins came out ready to play and dominating the ice to secure a massive win! In the first period at 14:50 they scored their first goal of the night, then 50 seconds later, they scored their 2nd goal of the night! Their goaltender Jeremy Swayman who is #1 for the Boston Bruins, he was just unstoppable tonight! He made some incredible saves that kept the crowd on their feet the whole game.

It was so much fun that I’m already itching to get back for another sometime. Way to go Bruins!! 🖤💛

Red Sox Game (Fenway Park, Boston, MA)⚾️

IMG_5995

This past week, I went to see the Red Sox vs Astros game at Fenway Park. Fenway Park is a famous baseball park located on 4 Yawkey Way, Boston, MA. My family has always been big Red Sox fans that goes back four generations. To be able to go to Fenway to watch the Red Sox play for the first time was amazing. It’s an event I’m glad I got to experience, and would be an event I’d experience again if I had the chance. The Red Sox were in the lead until the 4 inning, when the Astros tied the game 5-5. They remained tied until the bottom of the 9th, when the Red Sox scored a home run for the win! The crowd was very passionate about their teams, and would cheer loudly everytime their team scored.

My favorite part about the game was the Fenway franks. These are the best hot dogs ever! Normally, with hot dogs you buy from the store they taste better with ketchup, mustard and relish, but these Fenway franks didn’t need condiments at all. They were the most delicious hot dogs I’ve tried. I definitely recommend a Fenway Frank the next time you visit Fenway park for a game. Of course, ballgames are great family events to take the kids. They can also be very romantic. During the game, we witnessed two marriage proposals that made the event even more exciting. You never know what is going to happen at a ball game! I have also included the link for Fenway Park, if you are interested.

Cheers Bar & Grill (Faneuil Hall Boston)

IMG_5117

Cheers is a bar & grille that is based off the 1982TV series Cheers. The Cheers location I visited is located in the center of Faneuil Hall. Customers have the option to sit inside the bar area or outside on the covered patio on a nice day. The food is reasonably priced, and they have great service. They offer a variety of beverages including alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. They also offer a variety of food such as chicken fingers, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, and seafood. Customers have the option to order from their tavern menu or their specials menu. For the appetizer, my favorite was the calamari, and for the main meal my favorite was Carla’s Meatballs & Linguini served with garlic bread. Best pasta and meatballs I’ve had in a while. It was super moist with just enough sauce. I definitely recommend trying it.  Finally, customers who go to Cheers will find the atmosphere on the patio full of activity, giving customers the chance to see some of the entertainment by the street performers while waiting for their meal. New England Aquarium (Boston)

56047B7B-FFB5-4107-A8E6-374678E4CDA2

If you’re in Boston looking for a kid friendly activity, I highly recommend the New England aquarium. The New England aquarium is located across from Faneuil Hall on the harbor on State Street and is one of Boston’s popular attractions. It houses up to more than a thousand aquatic animals. Some of the animals include African penguin, American lobster, Atlantic harbor seal, Sea lions, Sea turtle, Horseshoecrab, Leafy seadragon, Starfish, Sea urchin, electric eel, green moray eel, and a variety of fish. As visitors walk in, they will find a touching tank exhibit allowing kids to touch three different types of stingrays including Haller’s round rays, yellow round rays, and cownose rays as well as zebra sharks. My favorite was the sea lion exhibit. The sea lions loved showing off to the crowd by swimming towards us as we watched them through the glass. I remember as I was taking a picture, one of the sea lions turned its head away as if they were saying they didn’t want their picture taken. On the other hand, another sea lion spotted a group of young kids and excitedly waddled over to the kids to put on a display. I added a short video below for your enjoyment. When visiting Boston, Faneuil Hall is an excellent location for shopping and eating. It has a variety of stores and restaurants arranged in three long historic buildings of the marketplace center. In the north market, visitors will find stores such as Ghirardelli Chocolate, Newbury Comics, Best of Boston, and Sunglasses Hut. The south market has designer stores including Anne Taylor, The Black Dog, Urban Outfitters, Coach, and Victoria Secret. Additional stores visitors will find in the Faneuil Hall marketplace include American Eagle, The Gap, and Sephora. Even though I loved visiting all of the stores, my favorites were Sephora, Ghirardelli Chocolate, and Newbury Comics. In Newbury Comics, customers can find everything from posters, comic books, CD’s and vinyl’s from artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Charlie Puth, Elvis Presley, Harry Styles, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty, Twenty One Pilots, The Beatles, Niall Horan, and the Rolling Stones. Prices were a little high in Faneuil Hall, but relatively reasonable. They also had a variety of restaurants in Faneuil Hall including Hard Rock Café, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood & Steaks, Cheer’s, Durgin-Park, Athem Kitchen & Bar and Zuma Tex-Mex Grill. They have many bar’s to choose from as well. Dick’s Last resort, Ned Devine’s Irish Pub, Mija Tequila Bar, and the Hideout Comedy Club are a few options to choose from. One of my favorite restaurants that I highly recommend when visiting the Faneuil Hall area is The Salty Dog Oyster Bar and Grill. This restaurant is in the center of Faneuil Hall and gets their seafood fresh every morning. They serve lunch and dinner with a variety of seafood such as oysters & shrimp. The atmosphere on the patio is full of activity and gave me a chance to watch the entertainment by the street performers while I waited for my meal. My favorite was the calamari appetizer. The fresh seafood bake was also very good, but I found it a little too oily. My favorite dessert location was Joey’s Gelato, at the end of the marketplace. It was as good as the Gelato I had in Italy.Anyone who’s interested in checking out Faneuil Hall, click here: https://faneuilhallmarketplace.com/#axzz5JS0PA2qA
