Last night, Banana Ball hit Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.

Before the game even started, the Savannah Bananas came out and sang their newest song, “The Show Starts Now,” which was the perfect kickoff to the greatest show in sports.

It was also my first time being back at Gillette in eleven years. My last time there was when I saw my favorite boy band at the time — One Direction. Now, eleven years later, I’m back, and this time, instead of a boy band, it was bright yellow jerseys, dancing players, and a whole new kind of excitement. It was also my second time seeing the Bananas — I saw them for the first time last year at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox — so returning for another Banana Ball night felt extra special.

The Savannah Bananas turn each game night into pure joy. The music, the crowd, the entertainment — it’s easy to see why Banana Ball has become such a phenomenon.

I also decided it was finally time to try my first banana beer. It was smooth, crisp, and had a subtle banana flavor. I truly enjoyed it, and it was the perfect little moment that made the night feel even more special.

The Bananas even have the world’s tallest baseball player — they call him Stilts because he actually plays on stilts, standing nearly ten feet tall. Watching him move around the field is wild, and it’s one of those things you truly only see at Banana Ball.

The game was completely sold out, too — Gillette was packed with fans all ready for a night of pure Banana Ball fun.

The Bananas smashed two home runs and took down the Loco Beach Coconuts with a 6–2 win.

The whole night was pure joy — the kind that stays with you long after the lights dim and the crowd filters out. Banana Ball isn’t just a game. It’s an experience. A memory. A celebration wrapped in yellow.

I also have to mention Jesse and Emily Cole — the incredible owners behind the Savannah Bananas. What they’ve created is truly something special. Their whole mission, Fans First, is felt in every single moment of Banana Ball. The joy, the creativity, the community, the pure fun… none of it would exist without their vision. They’ve built something unforgettable, and I’m so grateful I get to be a part of it as a fan.

I already can’t wait to go to another game sometime!
